Tibn Zig and Tanlil Ubt are the local guides who lead Lord Gustard and his companions through the treacherous desert landscape. While they share a passion for their desert home and a deep knowledge of its secrets, they have distinct personalities that set them apart.

Tibn Zig is the more outgoing of the two, with a gregarious and boisterous personality. He loves to tell stories and jokes, and is always looking for ways to make his companions laugh. He has an unusual love for colourful clothing and can swear profusely when faced with unexpected situations.
